Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •1\) The primary lesion is located in the cervical, thoracic esophagus, or esophagogastric junction (UICC\-TNM, 8th edition).
  • •2\) Histopathologically diagnosed as squamous cell carcinoma, adenosquamous cell carcinoma, or basal cell carcinoma.
  • •3\) The patient is scheduled to receive preoperative adjuvant therapy (chemotherapy, chemoradiotherapy) and radical open surgery (including specular surgery).
  • •4\) Written consent has been obtained from the patient.
  • •5\) Patient is 20 years of age or older and under 80 years of age.
  • •6\) Patient has a PS of 0 or 1\.
  • •7\) Patients do not have active multiple cancers.
  • •8\) Patient has preserved organ function.

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1\) Inability to give consent to participate in the study
  • •2\) Difficulty in making regular visits to the hospital
