Inclusion Criteria

People with congenital heart defects who can be divided into the following groups: a) children with congenital heart defects undergoing non-cardiac surgery, b) adults with congenital heart defects (EMAH) undergoing non-cardiac surgery and c) pregnant women from the EMAH group who received obstetric anesthesia care. The period should cover the years 2013-2023.

Primary Outcome Measures

The aim of the study is to better understand and characterize the current anaesthesiological care of patients with congenital heart defects. Since there are currently no valid recommendations for the anesthesiological care of this patient group, a status quo of care will first be determined.
