Evaluation of awareness about Provisional Restoration in Fixed Partial Denture amongst General Dentist in Central India

Provisional restorations are used as an intermediate stage for short or long-term placement on teeth between the time of tooth preparation until the definitive indirect restorations are fabricated and placed. The demand for tooth-colored restorations has significantly increased in recent years because of improved techniques and patient’s demand. Therefore, using various new restorative materials, which have excellent mechanical properties, are essential for both provisional and definitive restorations. This is a cross-sectional study that aims to evaluate the awareness and knowledge of provisional restoration among the general dentist in Central India.
