Inclusion Criteria
adults undergoing thoracic surgery with intercostal incisions, all lateral incisions including single port/Multiple port.
-can read and write in English/Hindi/Marathi
Exclusion Criteria
- <18 years of age
-History of prior thoracic surgery
-Preoperative neuropathic pain
-A median sternotomy incision
-Unwilling to fill out a questionnaire
-Refusal of consent
-Cognitively impaired
-Emergency surgery
