•ASA PS I

•18 - 60 years of age

• Male and Female

•Elective procedure under GA

•Mallampati airway class I &II

Exclusion Criteria

•Patient on beta-blockers

•Obese

•Difficult airway

•Severe Anaemia

• Allergic to drugs in the study

To compare the effectiveness of Esmolol bolus and Sevoflurane bolus for controlling pressor response like heart rate,systolic BP,diastolic BP & Mean artereial pressure <br/ ><br> <br/ ><br>Timepoint: Every minute for 10 minutes after the bolus of sevoflurane and esmolol in either group
