Inclusion Criteria

1.Patients having signs and symptoms of Mukhadooshika (Acne vulgaris).

2.Age group between 18 to 35 years of either gender.

3.Chronicity less than 5 years.

4.Patients willing to participate in the trial.

Exclusion Criteria

1.Age group below 18 years and more above 35 years.

2.Mukhadooshika(Pidika) on any region other than face.

3.Patients having any Twak Vikara other than Mukhadooshika and diseases like gastritis, GERD, gastric ulcers.

4.Any Pidika due to systemic and hormonal disease like Prameha, Masurika, PCOD, Hypertension, Heart diseases and others.

5.Rare variants like acne conglobata, acne fulminans and acne as a complication or as secondary to other illness.

6.Patients taking any hormonal therapy.

7.Pregnant women and lactating mothers.
