•1. Patients with a gingival index score of less than or equal to 2.
•2. Patients who are medically/systemically fit.
•3. Patients of both genders of age 18-70 years.
•4. Patients with no dental problem/active periodontitis/anyother condition which can explain tooth sensitivity.
•5. Non-lactating females.
•6. Non-smokers.
•7. Patients who are compliant with the study.

•1. Current desensitizing therapy
•2. Medical (including psychiatric) and pharmacotherapeutic histories that may compromise the protocol â?? including the chronic use of anti-inflammatory, analgesic and mind-altering drugs.
•3. Allergies and idiosyncratic responses to product ingredients.
•4. Periodontal surgery in the preceding 3 months.
•5. Orthodontic appliance treatment within previous 3 months.
•6. Teeth or supporting structures with any other painful pathology or defects.
•7. Teeth restored in the preceding 3 months and those with restorations extending into the test area.
•8. Abutment teeth for fixed or removable prostheses.
