Inclusion Criteria

Hospitalized children in the age group of 7-12years who are

hospitalized for medical illnesses include Respiratory, Gastrointestinal, Genitourinary, Endocrine disorders, musculoskeletal disorders.

anticipated having a minimum of three days of hospitalization.

with age-appropriate grade.

accompanied by a parent

Parents,

Who will accompany the child throughout the hospitalization and be willing to participate in the study 

Exclusion Criteria

Hospitalized children 

with the previous history of hospitalization

have any physical, psychological conditions that are not appropriate to participate in Nurse-led play intervention such as mental retardation, blindness, deafness or mental illness.

critical ill admitted in Pediatric intensive care units with the need of special care

Parent,

Parents having a physical or psychological condition that is not appropriate to participate in Nurse-led play intervention such as blindness, deafness and psychiatric condition.
