Inclusion Criteria

Age between 18 and 50 years; practice physical exercise for at least six months; and be available to participate in the study.

Exclusion Criteria

present intolerance / aversion to açaí; use alternative treatments to reduce late pain (acupuncture, cryotherapy, anti-inflammatory drugs, analgesics, among others); you are a smoker; present a weight change greater than 10% in the last three months; have chronic (cardiovascular, renal, liver, intestinal), infectious, inflammatory or acute illnesses that have required treatment in the past two months; having had cancer in the past ten years; chronic use of medication, except contraceptives; make use of anabolic steroids; use nutritional supplements, except supplements based on carbohydrates and proteins; is in gestational or breastfeeding period; has undergone surgical intervention to treat obesity; and is not available to participate in the meetings regarding the intervention and data collection of the study.
