•Patients with chronic periodontitis
•- Patients with at least 10 teeth for arch.
•- Mandibular first and second molar with II class furcation involvement with a buccal PD 5 mm.
•- Presence of supra-bony and intrabony defects
•- Tooth mobility

•- Patients with systemic diseases;
•- Patients with aggressive periodontitis;
•- Previous periodontal treatment in the last 2 years;
•- Prolonged antibiotic treatment or anti-inflammatory treatment within 6 months prior to periodontal therapy;
•- Mandibular Furcation involvement ( Class I and Class III);
•- Upper furcation involvement;
•- Pregnant or lactating;
•- Tobacco smokers (> 10 cigarettes/day);
•- Acute periodontal or endodontic abscess;
•- Third molars
