Inclusion Criteria
Infants between 1 and 12 months of age, presenting with acute PAH in the Department of Paediatrics, KMC Manipal
Exclusion Criteria
A.Age < 1 month or > 12 months
B.PPHN
C.Secondary causes of PAH, such as:
a.Any disease associated with pulmonary causes of respiratory distress including bronchopneumonia, lower respiratory tract infections , bronchiolitis.
b.Any Developmental anomaly of the lungs including Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia, Alveolar Capillary Dysplasia, Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia, PAP, Pulmonary Hypoplasia.
c.Any congenital heart disease
d.Any known chronic systemic disease
