All consenting consecutive Hindi speaking patients ââ?°Â¥ 18-year old with Richmond Agitation Sedation Scale (RASS) ââ?°Â¥ âË?â??3 and an anticipated ICU stay >48hr will be included. Only the index admission will be considered.
Known case of severe mental illnesses (SMI) like schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.
Visual/hearing loss.
Traumatic brain injury, acute brain lesion, or spinal cord injury, burns.
Patients admitted because of drug overdose, Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS) < 9 at the time of screening.
Transfer out or discharge or death within 48 hours of ICU stay.
