Age 1 month to 18 years diagnosed as mild or moderate Pediatric acute respiratory distress syndrome and is on invasive mechanical ventilation for at least 6 to 12 hours and anticipated need to continue mechanical ventilation for at least next 24 hours
Children who do not qualify in the definition in the definition of Pediatric acute respiratory distress syndrome as per PALICC guidelines or who are not on invasive mechanical ventilation
Hemodynamically unstable patients,patients who require peritoneal dialysis or hemodialysis,patients with increased intraabdominal pressures with risk of abdominal compartment syndrome,burns cases more than 20 percentage,raised intracranial pressure,serious facial trauma,air leaks with chest tube such that prone position not possible,chronic respiratory failure or non invasive mechanical ventilation
