Effect of Gastro Hepatic Pack on Biochemical changes in Type II Diabetes Mellitus patients - A Randomized controlled trail.

Due to rising rates of obesity and poor lifestyles, diabetes is becoming a more significant health burden worldwide, particularly in emerging nations like India. In India, over 134 million people were estimated to have diabetes by 2045.Gastro-Hepatic Pack which helps T2DM patient’s blood sugar level. The hot fomentation bag used in the GH pack is placed on the abdomen, which primarily aids in boosting blood flow. This happens because applying heat externally causes the sympathetic nervous system to become less active, which leads to an increase in the volume of hepatic blood. Therefore, a potential mechanism of the GH pack could be a sudden increase in hepatic blood flow that enhances liver function, followed by a reduction in flow that maintains 5–6 times the initial flow and, possibly, the removal of unwanted metabolites from the liver through the processes of phagocytosis. In addition, the vasoconstriction caused by the cold application to the lower back in the GH pack may aid in delivering blood to other bodily parts, such as the liver, where the need for blood supply increases following the application of heat. So, the goal of this study is to assess how GH pack affects individuals with type 2 diabetes mellitus in terms of  HbA1C and SGOT & SGPT.
