Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •(1\) adults over 40 years of age
- •(2\) a forced expiratory volume in one second/forced vital capacity (FEV1/FVC) ratio of less than 0\.70 (70%) based on post bronchodilater pulmonary function test
- •(3\) agree to provide informed consent for the study
Exclusion Criteria
- •(1\) refusal to provide informed consent for the study
- •(2\) inability to evaluate pulmonary function test
- •(3\) unable to visit for follow\-up inspection at 12 months
- •(4\) pregnant or have plans to conceive during the research period
- •(5\) respiratory disease other than COPD
- •(6\) neuromuscular disease
- •(7\) a person under immunosuppression treatment
