Inclusion Criteria
Patients fulfilling the criteria of Amercian society of Anaesthesiologists Physical Status I, II or III of either gender aged between 18 to 60yrs, undergoing elctive surgery
Exclusion Criteria
1) Patients with anticipated difficult airway as per the following predictors: (i)Mouth opening <2 finger breadth (or <4cm).
(ii)Obesity with BMI >30kg/m2.
(iii)Neck circumference >40cm.
(iv)Thyromental distance <6cm. (v)Retrognathism and upper lip bite test class III.
2) Patients with cervical spine injury. 3) Pregnant patients.
4) Patients with any other obvious pathology around the mouth or neck.
