Inclusion Criteria
Americam Society of Anaesthesiology Physical Status 1 and 2 undergoing elective surgery
Exclusion Criteria
1. Patients with anticipated difficult airway
2. Patients with BMI > 30 kg/m2
3. Patients undergoing emergency surgery
4. Pregnant patients
5. Presence of nasogastric tube
6. Edentulous patients
7. Patient deemed at high risk of aspiration by primary anaesthesia team

Name Time Method To compare the one handed CE technique and the jaw thrust technique for mask ventilation in the apnoeic anaesthetized adult by the mean exhaled tidal volumes.Timepoint: for 12 breaths 1minute each

Name Time Method To compare operator comfort , audible mask leak and frequency of gastric insufflation between the two techniques.Timepoint: with each breath and comfort at end of study period
