Hamstrings injuries are a major concern in football (soccer), affecting both recreational players and professional athletes. Although being a recognized issue within the football community, its incidence has been increasing over the last years and still poses a challenge to all practitioners involved. Hamstrings injuries are a major concern in football (soccer), affecting both recreational players and professional athletes. Although being a recognized issue within the football community, its incidence has been involved. The purpose study is to effectiveness of muscle energy technique and resistance training for hamstring tightness for football players. Muscle energy technique (MET) is a procedure that involves voluntary contraction of a patient’s muscle in a precisely controlled direction, at varying levels of intensity. Restoring normal tone in hypertonic muscles, strengthening weak muscles, preparing the muscle for subsequent stretching, improved joint mobility. It includes two techniques postisometric relaxation technique and reciprocal inhibition. Resistance training has been shown to have many influences on changing body mass, strength, and power of athletes. However, in the scientific literature, there are few studies that have retrospectively examined an RT program completed by football student athletes to determine changes in body mass, strength, and power.

  • Age-18-25years Male Individuals who have a hamstring tightness Individuals who have performed sit and reach test to conform hamstring tightness.

排除标准

  • Individuals with lower limb injuries are excluded Individuals who have taken steroid injection will be excluded Any systematic pathologies or inflammatory conditions Individuals who are under going physiotherapy intervention will be excluded.
