Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\) informed consent and voluntary participation
- •2\) aged 65\-85 years
- •3\) patients undergoing spinal anesthesia for bilateral staged total knee arthroplasty at one week interval
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\) psychologic disorder including schizophrenia, epilepsy, parkinson's disease and dememtia
- •2\) K\-MMSE score \< 20
- •3\) severe bradycardia (\<45 bpm), sick sinus syndrome, type 2 or 3 degree AV block
- •4\) severe hepatic dysfunction
- •5\) severe renal dysfunction
- •6\) history of recent stroke (within 6 months)
- •7\) alcohol or drug dependency
- •8\) difficulty of conmmunication
- •9\) want general anesthesia
- •10\) ASA PS 4\-5
