Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •1\. patients with good consciousness, RASS score between (\-1\)\-(\+1\)
  • •2\. verbalized Thai language
  • •3\. patients in postoperative period who are fasting
  • •4\. under general anesthesia in perioperative period
  • •5\. patients who are in 1\-6 hr. after extubated endotracheal tube
  • •6\. approved in the Safety Protocol for Thirst Management (SPTM)
  • •7\. consent to participate the study

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1\. patients with oral surgery or oral lesion
  • •2\. patients in dying stage
  • •3\. diagnose Xerostomia
  • •4\. body temperatures more than 37\.5 degree Celsius
