Depressive diagnosis
(F32.0, F32.1, F32.2, F32.8, F32.9, F33.0, F33.1, F33.2, F33.8, F33.9, F34.1)
Capacity to consent, agreement to be informed about possible incidental neurological findings that may arise in EEG
• Alcohol or substance dependence with current consumption (clinical interview)
• Severe, acute somatic illness requiring urgent treatment
• Any neurological or degenerative disease or impairment, severe brain disease, brain injury, or past brain surgery, the presence of epilepsy or organic disease
• Uncorrected visual impairment (digital visual acuity chart)
• Inadequate German language skills (interview)
• Allergic reactions to the following products from Easycap:
- Electrolyte gel (Abralyt 2000 HiCl)
- Patch adhesive (the self-adhesive rings for electrodes)
- Skin disinfectant of Cutasept F (Propan-2-ol), DGHM-certified
