Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •1\. Patients with age group of 20 yrs to 50 yrs.
  • •2\. Patients with clinical features of Acute fissure\-in\-ano \<6 weeks will be included after screening
  • •irrespective of age, sex, religion and socioeconomic status.
  • •3\. Patients with grade 0 and 1 anal spasm.
  • •4\. Controlled cases of Diabetes mellitus (RBS \>200 mg/dl upto 300mg/dl) Acute fissure\-in\-ano \<6 weeks.
  • •5\. Known cases with immune\-compromised status i.e Tuberculosis, HIV, Hepatitis B and sexually
  • •transmitted diseases on standard medication with Acute fissure\-in\-ano \< 6 weeks.

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1\. Chronic patients \> 6 weeks with sentinel tag.
  • •2\. Patients with grade 2 anal spasm.
  • •3\. Patients suffering with Haemorrhoids, Fistula\-in\-ano, Carcinoma Rectum and associated anorectal
  • •4\. Patients suffering with systemic disorder like Uncontrolled Diabetes mellitus.
  • •5\. Known cases of Anaemia, Bleeding crises, Anorectal Malignancy, Crohn’s disease, Ulcerative colitis will be excluded.
