•1. Patients with age group of 20 yrs to 50 yrs.
•2. Patients with clinical features of Acute fissure-in-ano <6 weeks will be included after screening
•irrespective of age, sex, religion and socioeconomic status.
•3. Patients with grade 0 and 1 anal spasm.
•4. Controlled cases of Diabetes mellitus (RBS >200 mg/dl upto 300mg/dl) Acute fissure-in-ano <6 weeks.
•5. Known cases with immune-compromised status i.e Tuberculosis, HIV, Hepatitis B and sexually
•transmitted diseases on standard medication with Acute fissure-in-ano < 6 weeks.

•1. Chronic patients > 6 weeks with sentinel tag.
•2. Patients with grade 2 anal spasm.
•3. Patients suffering with Haemorrhoids, Fistula-in-ano, Carcinoma Rectum and associated anorectal
•4. Patients suffering with systemic disorder like Uncontrolled Diabetes mellitus.
•5. Known cases of Anaemia, Bleeding crises, Anorectal Malignancy, Crohn’s disease, Ulcerative colitis will be excluded.
