- •Patients having Hb of 10gm% or below 10gm%
- •All socioeconomic class
- •Presence of any of the following sign and symptoms
- •(Pallor, Angular stomatitis,Glossitis, Palpitations,Koilonychias,Menorrhagia, Dizziness, Recurrent infection etc)

- •Any of the following
- •Inborn error of Hemoglobin.
- •Pregnancy or Pregnant ladies.
- •Other types of Anemias (Aplastic Anemia, Thalassemia)etc.

Importance of prolonging iron supplementation in anemic women of childbearing age - TREAT STUDYIron Deficiency Anaemia is a common pathology which concerns less than 5% of women aged 15 to 49 years old in the western countries but can affect up to 30% of the world population, knowing that 9 to 10 anaemic patients live in developing countries.
