AIMS:
To compare the effect of muscle energy technique and positional release technique on neck pain, range of motion and disability in dentists.
OBJECTIVES:
• To study the effect of muscle energy technique on neck pain by numerical pain rating scale in dentist.
• To study the effect of positional release technique on neck pain by numerical pain rating scale in dentist.
• To compare the effect of muscle energy technique and positional release technique on neck pain by numerical pain rating scale in dentist.
• To study the effect of muscle energy technique on range of motion by cervical goniometer in dentist.

- •Subjects willing to participate.
- •Both Male and Female.
- •Age: Between 20 yrs to 55 yrs.
- •Subjects having Chronicity of condition equal or more than 3 years.
- •Subjects having experience equal or more than 3 years.
- •Subjects who are working equal or more than 3 hours per day.
- •Subjects having Numerical Pain Rating Scale 3-7 Score.
- •Subjects having Neck Disability Index Mild to Moderate Score.
排除标准
- •Subjects with major surgery within 3 months near neck region.
- •Subjects with severe musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiopulmonary disorder condition.
