1.Patients who will agree to fill the consent form and have mechanical neck pain from past 4- 12 weeks( sub-acute or chronic cases)
2.Presence of palpable taut band & at least one active trigger point in upper trapezius. Diagnosis of trigger point will confirm by following criteria given by Travel & Simon.

3.Patients who have neck disability index 15â??24 points (30â??48%) is considered to constitute moderate disability,
Exclusion criteria includes:
1.Age below 25
2.Neurological symptoms in upper extremity
3.No trigger points on upper trapezius muscles
previous operations in the cervical spine or
Shoulder girdle during previous 12 months
4.Any significant trauma
5.Signs of serious pathology (malignancy/infection/and any inflammatory disorder)

Name Time Method 1.Pain <br/ ><br>2.cervical flexor muscle strength <br/ ><br>Timepoint: Subjects will receive 3 sessions per week for four weeks and their response will be recorded before start of the interventions, after 2 week and after 4 weeks. Follow up will be done 2 weeks post interventions to see the long term effect of the intervention
