a)Pregnant females undergoing primary cesarean with following characteristics:
1.Singleton pregnancy
2.No prior history of lower abdominal surgery
3. BMI -18.5-24.9 Kg/m2
1.Preoperative Hemoglobin < 7gm%
2.Thrombocytopenia
3.Deranged coagulation profile
4.Steroid / antibiotic therapy
5.Any pre-existing infections
6.Prolonged rupture of membrane ( > 18 hours)
7.Multiple gestation pregnancy
8.Subcutaneous fat thickness > 3cm
9.Obstructed labor
10.Medical co morbidities eg. Diabetes, hypertension, heart diseases etc
