Group A: systemically healthy patients
Group B: subjects diagnosed with hyperthyroidism within the past 1yr or below and are on treatment for the same
Group C: subjects diagnosed with hypothyroidism within the past 1yr or below and are on treatment for the same
1. Medically compromised patients (except for thyroid disorders in group B and C).
2. Patients on any medications (except for group B and group C subjects undergoing treatment)
3. Smokers and alcoholics
4. Pregnant and lactating women
5. History of periodontal treatment in last 6 months
