- •Single rooted single canal teeth with secondary Endodontic infection. Periapical index score of 1 to 4. Pre-operative pain <54mm on VAS scale
排除标准
- •complicating systemic disease (ASA: 3–6)
- •multiple teeth that required treatment
- •teeth with open apices
- •an intraradicular post
- •a sinus tract
- •an overfilled canal
- •severe periodontal defect or deep periodontal pocket (probing depth >4 mm)
- •poor oral hygiene
- •history of having taken analgesics 12 h or antibiotics 1 month before.
