Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\. Orotracheal intubation with invasive mechanical ventilation and the ventilation time is expected to exceed 3 days;
- •2\. Aged 18 to 90 years;
- •3\. No contraindications to acupuncture, electro\-acupuncture and rehabilitation exercises;
- •4\. The legal guardian or authorized principal signs the informed consent.
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\. Known neuromuscular disease or respiratory disease;
- •2\. Restrictive diaphragmatic movement disorders such as unresolved pneumothorax, abdominal hypertension, and massive ascites;
- •3\. Chest, rib deformity, rib fracture, lower extremity fracture or amputation;
- •4\. Ultrasound to observe local skin damage and infection sites;
- •5\. Local skin damage and acupoint infection;
- •6\. Temporary and permanent pacemaker indwelling;
- •7\. Various reasons (severe intestinal gas, structural abnormalities) lead to the inability of ultrasound to detect diaphragm movement.
