Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • 1\. Orotracheal intubation with invasive mechanical ventilation and the ventilation time is expected to exceed 3 days;
  • 2\. Aged 18 to 90 years;
  • 3\. No contraindications to acupuncture, electro\-acupuncture and rehabilitation exercises;
  • 4\. The legal guardian or authorized principal signs the informed consent.

Exclusion Criteria

  • 1\. Known neuromuscular disease or respiratory disease;
  • 2\. Restrictive diaphragmatic movement disorders such as unresolved pneumothorax, abdominal hypertension, and massive ascites;
  • 3\. Chest, rib deformity, rib fracture, lower extremity fracture or amputation;
  • 4\. Ultrasound to observe local skin damage and infection sites;
  • 5\. Local skin damage and acupoint infection;
  • 6\. Temporary and permanent pacemaker indwelling;
  • 7\. Various reasons (severe intestinal gas, structural abnormalities) lead to the inability of ultrasound to detect diaphragm movement.
