Localized chronic periodontitis in both right and left side of dentition (irrespective of maxilla and mandible).
Maxillary and/or mandibular posteriors with probing pocket depth of 5mm or more (bilateral or contralateral).
Clinical attachment level of 2mm or greater.
Consenting patients who are cooperative and able to come for regular follow up.
Patients on anti-inflammatory and antibiotics within 2 weeks.
Pregnant women.
Patients with severe systemic conditions (ASA IV onwards).
Patient with any suspicious oral lesion.
Patient allergic to any dye.
Smokers.
Patient who had undertaken any periodontal therapy in past 3 months.
