Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Localized chronic periodontitis in both right and left side of dentition (irrespective of maxilla and mandible).
- •Maxillary and/or mandibular posteriors with probing pocket depth of 5mm or more (bilateral or contralateral).
- •Clinical attachment level of 2mm or greater.
- •Consenting patients who are cooperative and able to come for regular follow up.
Exclusion Criteria
- •Patients on anti-inflammatory and antibiotics within 2 weeks.
- •Pregnant women.
- •Patients with severe systemic conditions (ASA IV onwards).
- •Patient with any suspicious oral lesion.
- •Patient allergic to any dye.
- •Patient who had undertaken any periodontal therapy in past 3 months.
