Inclusion Criteria
Age between 18-60 years
Elevated level of Serum TSH (ranging between 5 to 50 mU/L)
Patients who are on conventional medicine (dosage range between 25mcg to 50 mcg)
Exclusion Criteria
Age below 18 and above 60 years
Patients with goitre (Enlarged thyroid gland)
Drug induced Hypothyroidism
Auto-immune Hypothyroidism
Systemic illness like Tuberculosis
CNS disorder e.g encephalopathy
Diabetes
Major disorders like other endocrine disorder, HIV, cardiac disorder, malignancies and renal failure
Pregnancy and lactating mother
