- •- Acceptable proficiency of the Dutch language
- •- 37 patients
- •- ASA 2-4 patients, in order to limit the influence of co-morbidities on the mitochondrial function.
- •- Cardiac surgery requiring CPB

- •- Pregnancy/ lactation
