- •1.Diagnosis of gout (based on American College of Rheumatology [ACR]criteria)
- •2.At least two gout flares in the last four months
- •3.Able to provide written informed consent
- •4.Age 18 years and above

- •1.Lactose intolerance
- •2.Severe renal impairment (glomerular filtration rate [GFR]<30)
