1. Children in the age group of 5 -9 years with decayed mandibular primary second molars with
irreversible pulpitis.
2. Patients exhibiting Frankl’s behavior rating scale score of 2, 3 and 4 (negative positive &
definitely positive)
3. Teeth with atleast two-thirds of remaining root length.
4. Teeth with adequate coronal structure to support the placement of rubber dam and to receive the
stainless steel crown
1. Medically compromised children.
2. Children showing uncooperative behavior during the procedure.
3. Teeth with other than three canals
