The study will be performed on adult patients, aged 18-65 years, with NYHA class 1-3 undergoing elective colorectal surgery under general anaesthesia, will be considered for the study. Other criteria that will be considered for inclusion are body weight: 55 kg -140 kg and serum albumin >2.5 gm/dl. Patients who will give written informed consent to participate in the study.
The following patients will be excluded.
I.Patients with Cognitive limitation
II.Patients with Ejection fraction <30%
III.Patients with active cardiac dysrhythmia (e.g., rate controlled atrial fibrillation)
IV.Patients with Pulmonary disease where expected to receive less than 8 ml/kg tidal volumes
V.Patients with Sleep apnoea
VI.Patients with Renal disease
