Brief Summary

OCD is a chronic debilitating condition which often responds incompletely to available psychopharmacology and psychotherapy. Deep Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation has a deeper penetration than classical TMSand can stimulate deeper brain structures. Using H7 coil, anterior cingulate cortex and medial prefrontal cortex will be stimulated and it’s effect will be assessed using clinical rating scales and fMRI.

Primary Outcome Measures
NameTimeMethod
Primary outcome of the study is the clinical improvement in patients with OCD as recorded on Y-BOCS scale as seen at the end of 2 weeks of high frequency dTMS treatment.1. At baseline | 2. Day 1 (after 1st session of dTMS/sham stimulation ) | 3. Day 14 (at the end of 10 sessions of stimulation)
Secondary Outcome Measures
NameTimeMethod
Secondary outcomes are the changes in functional activation of ACC and mPFC as measured by resting state fMRI and Stroop task evoked fMRI following 10 session of high frequency dTMS in patients with OCD.1. At baseline
