简要总结

The proposed study aims to examine and compare the disaster preparedness knowledge, skills, and attitude of nurses and physiotherapists working in Delhi, India. As natural disasters and man-made crises become increasingly prevalent, the role of healthcare professionals in disaster response and management becomes crucial. However, limited research exists on how different healthcare disciplines, such as nursing and physiotherapy, perceive and respond to disaster preparedness. The study intends to gather data from a diverse sample of nurses and physiotherapists practicing in various healthcare settings across Delhi. The data collection process will likely involve survey to assess their level of disaster preparedness knowledge, their ability to apply relevant skills during emergencies, and their attitude towards disaster preparedness initiatives. By comparing the responses of nurses and physiotherapists, the researchers hope to identify any significant differences in their preparedness levels. The study may uncover variations in training, awareness, and perceived barriers to effective disaster response between the two professional groups. These findings could have far-reaching implications for disaster management planning, training programs, and interprofessional collaboration during times of crisis. Ultimately, the study’s results could lead to targeted interventions aimed at improving disaster preparedness among nurses and physiotherapists in Delhi, ensuring that both professions are better equipped to respond to disasters efficiently and cohesively. Additionally, it may offer valuable insights into potential areas of improvement in disaster preparedness training across the broader healthcare community. The study’s outcomes could contribute to strengthening disaster resilience and enhancing patient outcomes during emergencies in the region.
