- •male and female patients
- •aged between 18 and 50 years who are scheduled to undergo an elective general anaesthetic at Parirenyatwa and Harare Central Hospitals
- •Patients will be recruited from general surgery, urology, gynecology and orthpeadic lists
排除标准
- •ASA grade greater than III
- •Pregnant women
- •Hypertensive patients
- •Patients with a history of drug or alcohol abuse
- •Patients on medications that directly affect the CVS and neurological systems
- •Patients with psychiatric diseases
