An Observational clinical study to assess lipid profile before and after Shodhanarth Snehapana

This prospective, open-label, single-arm observational clinical study aims to assess changes in lipid profile before and after Shodhanartha Snehapana, a preparatory procedure for Vamana and Virecana in Panchakarma. Despite common misconceptions that Snehapana increases lipid levels, long-term clinical observations suggest possible regulation of lipid parameters. A minimum of 200 patients indicated for Snehapana will be enrolled and evaluated for lipid profile parameters before and after completion of the procedure. The study intends to generate evidence-based data to clarify the effect of Shodhanartha Snehapana on lipid metabolism and address patient concerns regarding its safety.
