Inclusion Criteria

Couples attending the Infertility outpatient clinic in OBG Dept with up to three previous failed IUI.

1.Couples with mild male factor infertility- defined According to WHO (2010) as sperm analysis :

A.Sperm Concentration >10-20x106 sperm/ml

B.15-25% progressive motility and / or

C. <20 million progressively motile spermatozoa in the ejaculate.

2.Couples with unexplained infertility â??

A. Regular normal Menstrual cycles

B. Bilateral fallopian tubes patent-confirmed by laparoscopy or hysterosalphingography

C. Normal TSH and Prolactin levels

D. Normal reproductive hormone levels

E. Normal semen analysis

Exclusion Criteria

1. Endometriosis or intrauterine organic pathology (polps,myoma and adhesions) , known Pelvic inflammatory disorder, ovarian cyst.

2. Any other medical disorder (Cardiovascular, Renal and Hepatic Disorders).

To assess the number of attempts at endometrial scratching in subsequent cycles to attain pregnancyTimepoint: Assessed in Months;To assess the pain and bleeding following endometrial scratching.Timepoint: Pain will be assessed based on Visual analog scale, right after procedure <br/ ><br>and bleeding graded as minimal/mild/moderate following procedure.
