1.RT-PCR confirmed SARS-CoV-2 infected patients.
2.Patients who are symptomatic with severe category of COVID-19 illness including critically ill patients admitted to the dedicated COVID-19 hospital of UPUMS.
3.Patients aged 18 years and above.
4.Patients with history of immergence of clinical symptoms of COVID-19 less than 10 days on the day of admission to the dedicated COVID-19 hospital.
5.The patient or his/her representative providing informed consent to participate in the study.
1.Patients who are either asymptomatic or having mild or moderate COVID illness.
2.Patients who take medication for less than 4 days after enrolment in the study.
3.Study participants deteriorating by two points on the clinical improvement ordinal scale designed for the study during the course of intervention.
4.Patients with established unresponsive improvement to treatment for co-morbidities.
5.Patients who discontinue the intervention for any reason.
6.Pregnant and lactating females.
