Inclusion Criteria
Clinical, biochemical and ultrasonography features suggestive of liver abscess
Exclusion Criteria
patients with organ failure (indicative of more serious disease), patients in danger of imminent rupture, severe cardiac, pulmonary, renal disease, immunodeficiency status and not giving written consent
