1. Patients with acute and recent Colle’s fracture and classical symptoms of Kandabhagna ie., Pain, swelling and deformity, restricted movements and tenderness of wrist.
2. Cases of Colle’s fracture which are possible to reduce by closed reduction method.
1. Open radius fracture (Savrana kandabhagna)
2. Colle’s fracture having significant angulation and deformity.
3. Cases indicated for operative management
4. Fracture associated with nerve and vessel injury
5. Compound fractures
6. Pathological fractures
7. Old fracture ( > 6 weeks), non-united fracture, mal-united fractures
8. Cases of tuberculosis, uncontrolled diabetes, hypertension, cardiac disorders, malignancy, senile osteoporosis, pregnant and lactating mother.
9. Associated with infective diseases of osteomyelitis
10. Patients with associated injuries like chest injuries, abdominal viscera, head injuries.
