Completing Informed consent ; Lower extremity fracture ; Need internal fixation for treatment; Age of 18-50 years ; Numerical score of pain less than 6; Speak and understand Farsi ; Iranian ; Reading and writing literacy
Exclusion criteria: History of taking psychiatric drugs in recent 6 month; head trauma; multiple trauma; deafness; pain score more than 6 before intervention ; any disease which aggravate pain; no tendency for continuing study; operation sit infection; compartment syndrome; post operative ICU hospitalization; Guided imagery less than 2 hours before and after operation
