Inclusion Criteria
Presence of at least one permanently erupted posterior permanent tooth with sealant; minimum age of 12 and maximum of 32 years; do not use orthodontic appliances; not be using medication that could influence the salivary flow; not being pregnant; possibility of attending return visits.
Exclusion Criteria
Teeth with restorations and sealants in the same tooth.

Name Time Method success rate of resinous and ionomeric sealants performed by undergraduate students of the third year, through analysis of changes in surface texture, retention staining, using the USPHS modified criteria.
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Decreased dental caries index, improved oral hygiene, improved plaque control, decreased risk of dental caries, using clinical and radiographic analysis.
