Inclusion Criteria
good general health
patient having at least 12 natural teeth with minimum of three in each jaw quadrant.
Two sites in each quadrant with a minimum probing depth of 5mm.
smoking at least ten cigarettes per day.
Exclusion Criteria
pregnancy
lactation
systemic antibiotic use or periodontal treatment within the the past 6 months.
antienflamatuar medication use within the past 3 months.
