Inclusion Criteria
1.patients undergoing cesarean section in <37 weeks of gestational age with low birth weight newborn of <2500 g weight.
2.patient with moderate to severe generalized chronic periodontitis with clinical attachment loss of 3mm to 5 mm
Exclusion Criteria
1.patients with systemic disease like diabetes, arthiritis, cancer, cardiovascular disorders, bleeding disorders, liver disease, renal diseases
2. patients who are immunocompromised
3. patients who are on corticosteroids or on cytotoxic drugs
4. patients having bacterial vaginosis, urninary tract infection, pre-eclampsia
