Inclusion Criteria

Patient selection-

130 consented patients between 25ââ?¬â??40 years of age

2Non-smoker

3Good general health of the patient without relevant disease

4Good oral hygiene

5Patients having good periodontal health

6Patients suffering from tooth sensitivity

7Who are concerned about esthetics were included in the study.

8 low caries index

Teeth selection-

1Probing depth (PD) <3 mm,

2NCCL depth 1-2 mm

3Presence of >1 mm highly keratinized tissue apical to the root exposure, and presence of >0.8 mm-thick gingival tissue.

4Wedge or saucer-shaped lesions

5Preserved vitality of teeth

6Absence of periodontitis, periradicular lesions, traumatic occlusion, bruxism, and wear facets.

7Possibility to get proper isolation by rubber dam.

Exclusion Criteria

Exclusion criteria

�Medically compromised patients, patients with severe periodontitis, high caries risk, heavy bruxism, xerostomia, fractured or cracked tooth, pregnant or breastfeeding mothers were excluded.

�Patients with mobile or fixed prosthetic restorations in the immediate environment of the tooth restorations.

�Patients with any systemic disorder, and a positive history of antibiotic and analgesic use within the week before the treatment.

�Teeth having cervical caries, fractures, pulpal involvement periapical pathology, mobility, and restoration involving the buccal surfaces were excluded from the study.
