Study Overview
Brief Summary
A randomized clinical trial has been designed to assess the efficacy of Argvadhadi Kwatha and Haritkyadi Kwatha in the management of Pittaja Mutrakruccra (Urinary Tract Infection) in children of age group 6 year to 14 year is selected from O.P.D. of Kaumarbhritya Department of Institute for Ayurved Studies and Research.

Inclusion Criteria
- •Parents of children willing to participate in the research trial.
- •Children of age group 6-14 years.
- •irrespective of Caste, Sex, Religion and socioeconomic status.
- •The patient having classical sign and symptoms of Pittaja Mutrakruccra (urinary tract infection).
Exclusion Criteria
- •1.Patients in age below 6 year and above 14 years.
- •2.Patient known case of Nephrotic syndrome, Nephritic syndrome, Phimosis, Renal calculi, Diabetes mellitus, malignancy and other systemic disorders.
- •3.Patient having congenital anomalies.
Outcomes
Primary Outcomes
All the signs and symptoms of Pittaja mutrakruchra such
Time Frame: 14 days
as Peeta Mutrapravruti, Sadaha Mutrapravruti, Saruja Mutrapravruti, Kricchra Mutrapravruti, Muhurmuhu Mutrapravruti, Sarakta Mutrapravruti, Fever and
Time Frame: 14 days
objective parameter such as pus cells in urine, Urine Culture will be assessed
Time Frame: 14 days
Secondary Outcomes
- Effect of Pathya- Apathya will be assessed on 7th ,14th, 21th & 28th day.(Litrary data related to Pittaja Mutrakruccra (urinary tract infection) will be complied &)
